Me and Pain

I am an average middle class American, living with chronic pain.  I have been with the same man for almost 16 years and have a teenage son.  I am a nurse.  I love my job and my family.  However living this life is difficult to say the least.  Any one who lives with chronic pain, would agree.  I suffer with migraine/fibromylagia.  It seems like no one around me gets it.  It IS an everyday issue.  It does not "come and go" as my admissions director stated.  I may be up and walking, talking, and functioning that does not mean that I am not in pain.  In fact as I am composing this blog, my first in fact, I am waiting for my triptan to kick in.  Which it is starting to do.  I usually keep a journal, but I thought what the heck.  If no one reads this, it won't be any different than my journal anyway.  So, to all of you out there suffering from any type of chronic pain.  I understand!
